Maximilian Brichta is a postdoc at the University of Virginia’s Thriving Youth in a Digital Environment (TYDE) research initiative. His work focuses on how social media and new financial technologies shape people’s relationship with money. His work with CRTL specifically focuses on how cryptocurrency is used to monetize disinformation.
